Over 100 Years of Timber-processing Tradition.

Our roots go back to 1916, when a historic sawmill began operating at Zagnańsk on the site where Świat Drewna stands today. We are proud heirs to this tradition. Our team includes experienced specialists who have built their skills over decades of working with timber in the region.

As one of the region’s leading joinery manufacturers, we make no compromises on quality. We process only certified timber, sourced directly from Poland’s State Forests.

A New Chapter: Piekoszów

In response to growing market demand, we have completed a strategic greenfield investment at Piekoszów. This ultra-modern plant enables us to enhance timber end-to-end and produce biomass in a Zero Waste model.

We run a complete timber-processing cycle and use 100% of the raw material: from certified window joinery to premium pellets made from energy biomass.

Using carefully selected, certified timber sourced 100% from Poland’s State Forests, we supply customers with material of guaranteed, consistent performance. We process key softwood (pine) and hardwood (oak) species, ensuring a stable supply for industry and construction.

With our own Wood Technology Centre (CTD), we go beyond standard processing. We implement innovations that measurably improve strength, machinability and in-service performance. This helps optimise customers’ production costs and reduces the risk of complaints and unplanned downtime.

Our History

From a Vision to One of the Region’s Most Advanced Plants

The story of our dynamic growth is a new chapter in a project launched in 1990 by Tadeusz Jabłoński. The current management, building on family tradition and responding to growing demand for precisely machined laminated timber, took a bold step: building a modern production facility from the ground up through a greenfield investment.

We chose an industrial site at Piekoszów. Our goal was not to build another sawmill, but a complete timber processing centre.

This investment created many new jobs and introduced technology that uses 100% of the raw material: from sawing logs sourced from Poland’s State Forests, through certified sawn timber and laminated blanks, to producing pellets from biomass. Today, this plant is the heart of our production and logistics.
