Launching our research infrastructure

Quality in the timber industry is no accident—it is the result of precise measurement and testing. We are pleased to announce that we are opening our own laboratory for testing wood properties.

Świat Drewna is implementing a project entitled "Creating research and development infrastructure at Świat Drewna". This strategic investment will allow us to move from being a manufacturer to being an innovator in the timber sector. The main focus of the work will be verifying the physical and mechanical properties of wood products, wood-based materials and packaging.

Scope of the investment

Delivery of the project rests on two key stages that translate directly into the quality of our products and services:

• R&D centre construction: A dedicated facility equipped for advanced research work.
• Equipment procurement: Specialist measuring and laboratory apparatus required for certification and quality control.
