About us

Modern manufacturing, supported by innovative technology

We run a complete timber-processing cycle and use 100% of the raw material: from certified window joinery to premium pellets made from energy biomass.

Timber processing at the plant

Using carefully selected, certified timber sourced 100% from Poland’s State Forests, we supply customers with material of guaranteed, consistent performance. We process key softwood (pine) and hardwood (oak) species, ensuring a stable supply for industry and construction.

With our own Wood Technology Centre (CTD), we go beyond standard processing. We implement innovations that measurably improve strength, machinability and in-service performance. This helps optimise customers’ production costs and reduces the risk of complaints and unplanned downtime.

  • End-to-end processing: sawing, kiln drying and precision planing
  • Production of laminated timber with enhanced strength
  • Sustainability and zero-waste manufacturing: biomass and green energy from premium pellets
  • Our own transport fleet and nationwide delivery logistics across Poland

Our in-house Wood Technology Centre carries out research, ensuring access to the latest solutions in timber engineering.

We use 100% of the raw material, from log to woodchip. We respect both the investor’s budget and the environment.

FAQ

Questions about layer-laminated timber and staircase panels

We specialise in panels made from selected oak or pine. Both species are available in a range of quality grades.

Our laminated panels are kiln dried to 8–10% moisture content (± 2%). This is an optimal level for internal stairs and helps prevent shrinkage and cracking.

Yes. We offer "cut-to-size" formats made to order, which helps minimise production waste in your plant.

A solid lamella is a single, continuous piece of timber along the full length of the tread. It offers a cleaner appearance but costs more. Finger joints connect shorter pieces of timber: they provide greater stability, a lower price and a distinctive "zigzag" joint line.

Yes. 100% of our raw material comes from legal, sustainable sources. We always supply products with FSC® or PEFC® certification.

Standard sizes are often available immediately from stock. We usually deliver made-to-order products within 2–4 weeks, depending on volume and specification.
Why us?

Production optimisation
in your plant

Choosing precisely prepared semi-finished components from Świat Drewna means less waste, lower energy use, reduced tool wear and faster final processing.

Waste minimisation We supply "cut-to-size" components and precisely graded lamellas, so you pay only for material you will use.
Dimensional stability Optimal moisture content and professional bonding ensure your windows, doors and stairs look right for the end customer.
Protecting tools and machinery Semi-finished components made from timber free from hidden defects such as resin pockets, loose knots and inclusions extend the life of cutting tools and help prevent line stoppages during further processing.
