FAQ

Technical questions – joinery

We supply certified pine and oak blanks. The raw material is carefully selected for density and grain pattern, which is essential for the durability of façades, window frames and door jambs.

Finger-jointed blanks are more cost-effective and stable (internal stresses are reduced), ideal for door stiles and jambs. Solid blanks (layer-glued with solid outer lamellas) are a premium product, used where the wood structure is visible without joints (e.g. transparent stains).

Yes—that is our speciality. Our profiles are precisely calibrated and free from defects (loose knots, resin pockets), ensuring smooth operation on CNC centres and no stoppages in serial production.

The key is kiln drying to 10–12% moisture content (in line with standards for external joinery) and layer-gluing technology. As a result, our profiles do not warp with temperature changes in conservatories or on façades.

We use only certified waterproof D4 adhesives (in accordance with EN 204), which ensure durable bonds even in the harsh weather conditions faced by external windows and doors.

Yes. In addition to standard window cross-sections, we produce components for thresholds, perimeter trims, door-leaf stiles and adjustable door frames to the customer’s technical specification.

Yes, for the most demanding customers. A sandwich-type construction delivers a solid cross-section effect on the outer layers while retaining all the benefits of laminated timber.
